Wisconsin Dem Gov Candidates Embrace Far-Left Policies That Would Hurt The State

In last night’s Wisconsin Democrat gubernatorial debate, the party’s candidates unanimously affirmed their support for far-left policies that would leave the state less safe and reverse years of sustained economic progress.

Not only did each of the Democrats criticize Governor Scott Walker’s successful recruitment of Foxconn to Wisconsin, a project that will create 13,000 new jobs, but every one of them threw their support behind policies that would put criminals back on the streets. Earlier this week, Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel criticized the Democrat candidates, calling them “irresponsible for suggesting releasing inmates without any hard standards” while stating that their “proposals ignore crime victims’ fears and governors shouldn’t interfere with judges’ sentencing decisions.”

As Tony Evers, Mahlon Mitchell, Kelda Roys, Paul Soglin and other Democrats running for governor seek to undo years of reforms that have improved life for all the people of Wisconsin, their increasingly far-left agenda would leave the state less safe and less prosperous. They can’t be trusted to lead.
