Just last week, far-left California billionaire Tom Steyer announced that he and his Super PAC, NextGen America, will hold three Democrat gubernatorial debates in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Florida this year. So far, Steyer has not announced any plans to host a debate in South Carolina, even with a competitive Democrat primary race between James Smith, Phil Noble, and Marguerite Willis, but he should organize one so voters know exactly where the Democrat gubernatorial candidates stand on his extreme agenda.
During the 2016 election cycle, Steyer’s Super PAC spent millions backing candidates around the country who would support his radical agenda. Since then, Steyer has spared no expense on TV ads promoting himself, fanning speculation that he plans on running in the 2020 presidential election, while making divisive calls to impeach President Trump.
If Steyer wants to funnel money to candidates who will stand behind his far-left policies, he should also organize a Democrat gubernatorial debate in South Carolina, and ask Smith, Noble, and Willis to join him on stage.
