Whitmer still won’t demand Biden end border crisis

Ten governors just returned from a visit to the Rio Grande where they laid out simple policy changes President Biden could implement to solve the border crisis, yet Gretchen Whitmer is nowhere to be found.

Remember, record amounts of drugs are flowing across the border and killing Michiganders, and fentanyl overdoses continue to increase in Michigan.

Instead of joining her colleagues and pushing Biden to address the crisis, Whitmer has called for the abolishment of ICE, one of the very organizations designed to protect America’s borders.

“With enough fentanyl to kill every American seven times over streaming across the southern border, and overdoses skyrocketing in Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer is still refusing to hold Joe Biden accountable,” said RGA Spokesperson Chris Gustafson. “It’s time for Whitmer to demand action from Biden or finally admit she’s placing her partisanship ahead of the safety of Michiganders”
