September 7: Governor Tony Evers goes mask-free while touring a Wisconsin school.

September 11: Governor Tony Evers comes out in support of Milwaukee schools requiring masks.

Reporter: “Milwaukee could require masks in the coming months based on levels and CDC guidance. Would you support that?”

Evers: “Absolutely…you can hold school with a mask on.”

“Tony Evers did his best Stacey Abrams impression by walking around a school maskless and then coming out in support of mask mandates for kindergarteners not even one week later,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “After significant learning loss caused by lockdowns and mask mandates, Evers just told voters how he would fail Wisconsin students yet again if he gets a second term.”
