Welcome Home Mr. President: RGA Billboards Remind Joe Biden of his Border Crisis Absence

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tonight, Joe Biden will return to Delaware and will be greeted by the reminder of his failure to address the crisis at the southern border. In May, the RGA announced the posting of eight billboards, which remain up, that highlight the official trip count of Biden’s visits to Delaware versus his lack of visits to the border, as well as the staggering numbers associated with migrant border crossings, unaccompanied minors, and the deadly drugs seized.

“Apparently the already short week wasn’t short enough for Joe Biden,” said RGA Communications Director Jesse Hunt. “Unfortunately for the border agents, National Guard troops, residents of overwhelmed border towns, and every state that is forced to deal with drugs flooding communities there is no escape from the southern border crisis that gets no help from the Biden administration. Every day Biden spends absent from this national security failure is another day for the deadly fentanyl crisis, human trafficking, and record number of crossings to wreak havoc on the country. Republican governors will continue to provide state resources to fill the void left by the Administration’s inaction.”
