Walz: vaccine mandate for small businesses is right move

After a confusing rollout of Joe Biden’s federal vaccine mandate on businesses with over 100 employees, the White House has finally said the mandate could be finalized this week.

Governor Tim Walz immediately came out in full support of the mandate, calling it the “right move.”

“With Biden’s vaccine mandate potentially being finalized this week, Minnesota small business owners and employees will be looking to their governor for guidance on how this will affect their livelihoods,” said RGA Spokesperson Maddie Anderson. “This new mandate will put business owners in an impossible situation just as they are beginning to rebuild after Governor Walz’ overburdensome COVID restrictions shut them down last year. With Walz blindly embracing the federal mandate, small businesses will be the ones who suffer.”
