In case you missed it, Beto O’Rourke went on CNN’s State of the Union this morning and was asked if he still wants to confiscate the legally-purchased firearms of private citizens and if that’s what he would do as Governor of Texas. O’Rourke confirmed he would.
“Beto O’Rourke just confirmed that he has every intention of confiscating the legally-obtained firearms of every day Texans if he’s elected governor,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “Responsible gun ownership is a long-standing tradition in Texas, and voters will absolutely reject O’Rourke’s plans to confiscate their property and infringe on their rights.”
