Gov race results in VA should alarm Mills

The results in the Virginia gubernatorial race ought to have Janet Mills breaking out in cold sweats.

Why? Maine was one of the eight states that have Democratic governors on the ballot in 2022 where Joe Biden won by the same or a smaller margin than he did in Virginia in 2020.

“Voters turned their back on Democrats’ agenda in the blue state of Virginia, providing the clearest sign yet that Janet Mills is in deep trouble in 2022,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Virginians demonstrated that families all across the country want more money in their pockets, an end to the overly-restrictive pandemic policies and safer neighborhoods — all things in direct conflict with Governor Mills’ agenda.”
