Florida Democrat Gwen Graham’s new gubernatorial campaign strategy appears to be dodging tough questions at all costs.
At a debate earlier this month, Graham gave such an uninspiring performance that one of the event’s co-sponsors unanimously voted to pass on supporting her and back Andrew Gillum. This embarrassing snub followed a debate in April, where Graham, the supposed “education candidate,” was unable to answer how much Florida spends on K-12 education.
Now, after these two lackluster performances, Graham is backing out of Tuesday’s Orlando debate.
Graham’s refusal to debate will only reinforce the widespread perception that she’s another uninspiring establishment politician who can’t answer the tough questions.
