Out-of-Touch Democrat Jared Polis Mocks Colorado’s Rural Voters

Out-of-touch Democrat gubernatorial nominee Jared Polis continues to show that he just can’t be bothered with the concerns of Colorado’s rural voters.

For weeks, Polis has faced withering criticism from across the political spectrum for skipping the Club 20 debate, which is widely known as “Western Colorado’s marquee political event.” Despite this strong backlash, Polis doubled down on his decision, dismissing the Western Slope’s concerns about the snub as “partisan.”

But now, Polis has gone from insulting rural voters to pretending that he doesn’t even know they exist. When asked about the Club 20 debate, Polis remarkably claimed, “I’m not sure which one that is,” forcing the reporter to remind him that it’s “on the Western Slope.”

Coloradans deserve better than a far-left radical who only pays attention to part of the state.

Westword interview:

“Reporter: I hear that you’re not going to be attending Club 20 for the gubernatorial debate.

Polis: Well, we challenged Stapleton to thirteen debates and forums. He challenged us to nine; I think there’s an overlap of six. So obviously, I’ll be at a number of places he won’t be at, and he might be at some where I won’t be at, but I will definitely be at more. I’m not sure which one that is.

Reporter: It’s on the Western Slope.”
