In Florida, Governor Rick Scott’s pro-jobs policies have the state on the right track. Since January 2011, Florida has added over 1.4 million new jobs while experiencing a 10-year low unemployment rate on top of record tourism and expanded economic investment. Under Republican leadership, Florida is charging full steam ahead.
But despite these meaningful accomplishments, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Gwen Graham wants to change the state’s positive direction. At yesterday’s Democrat candidate’s forum in Palm Beach, Graham boasted that if elected, “the direction of Florida is going to change.”
Instead of working across the aisle to strengthen Florida’s economic outlook, Graham is more concerned with scoring political points that further her power-hungry political ambitions. Florida voters want their next governor to continue Governor Rick Scott’s positive economic results, but Graham is so out-of-touch, she can only focus on taking the state backwards.
