After months of dodging questions on transparency, tonight’s Florida Democrat gubernatorial debate offers Gwen Graham yet another opportunity to finally live up to her rhetoric.
Graham has made transparency one of the core themes of her campaign, often demanding “full transparency” from others.
But, in a startling display of hypocrisy, Graham has repeatedly exempted herself and her allies from her own transparency standards, refusing to release her congressional records even after an allegation of bribery in her congressional office has surfaced.
If Graham once again fails to commit to offering Floridians the “full transparency” that they deserve, voters will continue to see her as a typical politician who says one thing, but does another.
