Tom Perriello Builds Campaign Foundation On Far-Left Agenda

In the weeks since launching his campaign for governor of Virginia, Democrat Tom Perriello has given Virginians a clear idea of what kind of governor he would be. In his campaign stops around the Commonwealth, he has been blasted in the media for comparing the 2016 election to the 9/11 attacks while making his unapologetic support for Obamacare the centerpiece of his candidacy. On Friday, he doubled down on his support for the failed healthcare law to a sparse crowd in Lexington, VA:

Clearly, the former congressman hasn’t been listening to what average Virginians have said about the law, as a recent poll showed that 67% of Virginians favor repealing Obamacare. Even after he was kicked out of Congress by his own constituents for backing Barack Obama’s destructive healthcare law, Perriello is still committed to a far-left agenda that Virginians have unequivocally opposed. Even though Virginians could be facing a 16 percent premium hike under Obamacare this year, Perriello makes no apologies for his actions in Washington.

Less than two months into his candidacy, Tom Perriello has not only shown voters a penchant for hyperbolic partisanship, but also an unshakable commitment to a far-left agenda that has proven catastrophic to Virginia families. As he and Ralph Northam continue their race to the left for the Democrat Party nomination, they continue to prove how unfit they are to lead Virginia through the next four years.
