New Mexicans still are not sure where Governor Lujan Grisham stands on Biden’s overreaching vaccine mandate for workers even though she previously stated that no one but her should have a say in New Mexico’s health orders.
But maybe the Biden administration’s revelation that they might make getting a COVID vaccine a requirement for any worker to get a job will cause Lujan Grisham to make her position known.
“Michelle Lujan Grisham still refuses to acknowledge the economic devastation that will come from continued attacks on small businesses and working families ,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “In an already tight labor market, tiny businesses with fewer than 100 employees cannot afford to see staff shown the door because they have not received the vaccine, nor the six figure fines that could come with it. It is time for Lujan Grisham to make her position clear: does she stand with her political allies or New Mexico’s economy?”
