South Carolina Dem Gov Candidate James Smith Set To Campaign With Far-Left California Rep. Maxine Waters

Just weeks into his campaign, Democrat gubernatorial candidate James Smith is already showing South Carolina voters that he’s too extreme to lead the Palmetto State. The Times and Democrat reports that Smith will appear at a campaign event in Orangeburg next week that will be headlined by left-wing California Congresswoman Maxine Waters, who in a speech just weeks ago said she would “take out” President Donald Trump. By choosing to join Waters at this event, Smith has proven that he has no problem appearing with left-wing radicals willing to make outrageous and threatening statements about the President of the United States. Smith’s decision to associate himself with someone like Waters sends a clear message to voters that he’s too extreme to lead South Carolina. Smith should immediately admit to voters if he thought Waters’ statement on the President was over the line and why he’s choosing to appear with her.

Fox News reports:

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, a leader in the resist-Trump movement, recently told a New York audience that she will “take out” the president, a video posted online last week shows.

“Wow, what a moving evening this is,” Waters is heard saying in the video of an Oct. 13 event at the Ali Forney Center in New York City.

“I’m sitting here listening, watching, absorbing, thinking about Ali even though I never met him. And with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take Trump out tonight,” the California lawmaker said as the crowd cheered.”
