As crime continues to rage in Nevada and skyrocket across the country, what’s Governor Steve Sisolak spending his time doing? Speaking as the “special guest” at an event hosted by Battle Born Progress — a group that has publicly called for defunding the police.

Battle Born Progress’ Executive Director also embraced Critical Race Theory, saying “young people need to know this information.”

“Governor Steve Sisolak choosing to be the ‘special guest’ speaker for a group aiming to defund the police is a slap in the face to Nevada’s entire law enforcement community, who put their lives on the line to protect Nevadans — including their governor — each day,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “As chief executive of his state, Sisolak has a responsibility to advocate for the best policies for his constituents instead of hobnobbing with anti-police and pro-Critical Race Theory groups. Less than a year out from Election Day, Sisolak is focused on all the wrong things.”
