North Carolina Democrat gubernatorial nominee Roy Cooper broke his long silence today, finally admitting publicly that he’s all-in for Obama’s Third Term and four more years of the president’s failed policies by announcing that he is endorsing Hillary Clinton for President.
“McCrory’s Democratic opponent, attorney general Roy Cooper, on Tuesday endorsed Hillary Clinton, who secured enough delegates for her party’s nomination Monday night. ‘Yes, Attorney General Cooper will support Secretary Clinton for president,’ Cooper campaign spokesman Jamal Little said in an email.”(Colin Campbell, “Cooper Backs Hillary Clinton,” Raleigh News & Observer, 6/7/2016)
“While 30-year career politician Roy Cooper is trying to mislead Tar Heel voters and hide his record of raising taxes and fees by $9 billion, cutting education programs and voting to raise tuition, his endorsement of Hillary Clinton shows that his top priority is electing Barack Obama for a third term,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “Cooper’s choice to align himself with Hillary Clinton’s lack of transparency and shady tactics, which have led to an FBI investigation, demonstrates that he is craving four more years of Barack Obama’s destructive leadership.”
