Rhode Island Dem Gov Gina Raimondo: Governing Is Hard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While discussing her stalled college tuition proposal with the New York Times, Rhode Island’s failed Democrat Governor Gina Raimondo made a startling admission, described as “chastened” by reporters when discussing her program, which has been met with opposition even from her own party leaders. It seems Raimondo has adopted the motto of her failed neighbor Dan Malloy in Connecticut, and is admitting to voters that “governing is hard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.”

WPRI-TV reports:

“’Having run a government for two years now, it’s really hard to execute well,’ she said. ‘And so I wanted the simplest, easier to administer, easiest to implement program, so we got it right.’”

Under Raimondo’s recent record of job losses, stalled legislation, and a sky-high budget shortfall, Rhode Island appears headed down the same path as Malloy’s Connecticut.
