RGA Welcomes Rob Astorino To The New York Governor’s Race

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association Executive Director Phil Cox issued the following statement regarding Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino’s decision to enter the New York governor’s race:

“Rob Astorino’s entry into the New York governor’s race gives voters a strong alternative to the tax-and-spend, big government administration Governor Cuomo has imposed upon his state. New York needs a governor who will place renewed focus on creating jobs, supporting businesses, cutting taxes, reviving the state’s economy and making the state a great place to raise a family and start a business for all New Yorkers. Governor Cuomo has failed to deliver on those priorities, but Rob Astorino is ready to take action and get meaningful results. The Republican Governors Association welcomes Rob Astorino to the New York governor’s race.”
