The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding Greg Gianforte’s announcement that he will enter the Montana governor’s race:
“With a proven record as a successful businessman and job creator, Greg Gianforte knows what it takes to build a dynamic workforce, grow jobs, increase wages and unleash the state’s enormous economic potential,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “For too long, Montanans have suffered under the failed policies of Governor Steve Bullock, who has routinely put Montana jobs at risk by failing to take a stand against Washington’s federal overreach. The people of Montana deserve better. The Republican Governors Association welcomes Greg Gianforte to the Montana governor’s race.”
