WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement on the Rhode Island gubernatorial primary.
“A mother of three who has worked every job imaginable from retail to waitressing before starting her own small business, Ashley Kalus understands the struggles facing families during this difficult time,” said RGA Co-Chairs Governors Doug Ducey and Pete Ricketts. “The least popular governor in America, Dan McKee has spent his tenure as governor embroiled in scandal and unabashedly supporting Washington Democrats’ agenda that resulted in the cost of living skyrocketing in Rhode Island. The RGA congratulates Ashley on her primary victory, and we look forward to seeing her elected governor this November.”
