RGA Statement on President Donald J. Trump’s State of the Union Address

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association (RGA) Chair Governor Greg Gianforte released the following statement in response to President Donald J. Trump’s State of the Union Address:

“Every day, President Trump is delivering on his promises and reversing the disastrous effects of Biden-era policies. By bringing down costs, unleashing the economy, and securing the border, he’s made it clear that our nation’s best days are still to come.

“President Trump isn’t just leading at the federal level, he’s empowering states and Republican governors to help make life more affordable for all Americans. He’s prevented the largest income tax hike in American history, lowered the costs of prescription drugs with Trump Rx, and is bringing the American dream into greater reach.

“Republican governors look forward to working alongside President Trump to keep delivering for the American people, who were ignored for far too long by the Biden Administration.
