RGA Statement on Wyoming Republican Primary

Primary voters have selected Republican Matt Mead to face Democrat Leslie Petersen in the race for governor of Wyoming.  Republican Governors Association spokesman Tim Murtaugh today issued the following statement:

“Matt Mead is a strong candidate with a clear vision for Wyoming that will encourage job growth and promote economic development.  He will hold down taxes, ensure predictable government regulation, and guarantee residents are free to make their own decisions to improve their way of life.  We look forward to his election as the next governor of Wyoming.”
