RGA Statement on the South Dakota Gubernatorial Primary

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement on the outcome of today’s South Dakota gubernatorial primary election:

“Today, South Dakota voters voiced their strong support for Governor Dennis Daugaard, a principled leader who has worked tirelessly for a better South Dakota,” said RGA Chairman Chris Christie. “His time in office has reinforced the state’s reputation as a place where families and businesses can grow and succeed, and as a committed steward of the taxpayers, Governor Daugaard has balanced the budget without gimmicks, putting his state on solid ground without raising taxes.
