WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement on the outcome of the Nevada gubernatorial primary election:
“Four years ago, Nevada was down and out, and in major need of a leader who could put the state on the right path. Governor Brian Sandoval has proven himself up to that challenge, and he’s delivering in a big way,” said RGA Chairman Chris Christie. “Job growth is strong, unemployment is dropping at historic rates, and Nevada’s children have an ally in the statehouse who is committed to a brighter future through meaningful education reform. Nevada’s Comeback is strong and Governor Sandoval’s work has earned him record high approval ratings. He is set on continuing the progress the state has seen on his watch, and the Republican Governors Association is proud to support his re-election.”
