WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement on the outcome of today’s Alabama gubernatorial primary election:
“Guided by the principle that small, limited government makes for a strong, prosperous state, Governor Robert Bentley’s leadership has yielded impressive results in Alabama,” said RGA Chairman Chris Christie. “Governor Bentley has done the job he was elected to do, and he’s done it well. He’s keeping taxes low, supporting small businesses and job creators, improving education and fostering an environment where every Alabaman who wants a job can get one. The Republican Governors Association is proud to support Governor Bentley’s re-election campaign.”
