RGA Statement On Ruling In Alaska Recall Effort

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement from RGA Executive Director Dave Rexrode in response the Alaska Division of Elections finding a recall effort launched against Governor Mike Dunleavy to be “factually and legally deficient”:

“Governor Dunleavy is working to build a brighter future for all Alaskans by improving the state’s economy, attracting jobs and businesses, and expanding opportunities for working families. The Division of Elections ruling makes it clear that this recall effort is a baseless, partisan endeavor to block Governor Dunleavy’s results-oriented vision for the state. The voters will continue to reject attempts by special interests to stop a duly elected governor from doing his job and delivering for Alaska’s working families.”
