Oklahoma primary voters have selected Republican Mary Fallin as their candidate for governor, while the Democratic primary continued to go down to the wire late Tuesday. Republican Governors Association spokesman Tim Murtaugh issued the following statement:
“The only thing that is clear about the Democratic primary for governor of Oklahoma is that Democrats are deeply divided between two candidates who represent the past or the very past. Meanwhile, conservatives are strongly united behind Mary Fallin, who promises an Oklahoma where taxes are low, government is in check, and Barack Obama’s job killing policies are always opposed.”
