WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association Communications Director Gail Gitcho issued the following statement regarding the tightening of the polls in the Virginia governor’s race:
“Virginia is beginning to see the real Terry McAuliffe: An unserious candidate who campaigns on lies, distortions, reckless statements and absurdities. His inability to gain any traction in the race after running numerous attack ads is not surprising. McAuliffe is an unacceptable and untrustworthy candidate who is not fit for the office of Virginia governor.”
