RGA Statement on Missouri Democrats Nominating Political Opportunist Chris Koster For Governor

WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding Missouri Democrats electing Chris Koster as their nominee for governor:

“In nominating Chris Koster for governor, Missouri Democrats have chosen another self-serving politician who puts himself first as their standard bearer,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “Koster is a political opportunist who took advantage of the trust instilled in him by Missouri voters, wasted precious taxpayer funds, and failed numerous times to follow through on his promises. Chris Koster’s record is clear: he puts himself first, not Missouri families.”
