Republican Sam Brownback to Face Democrat Tom Holland
Kansas primary voters have selected Republican Sam Brownback to face Democrat Tom Holland in November’s general election. Republican Governors Association spokesman Tim Murtaugh released the following statement:
“Senator Sam Brownback is an extremely strong candidate who will run on a clear vision of a Kansas that holds the line on taxes, controls government spending and clears away the obstacles that prevent job creation and economic growth. Kansans will be well served when Sam Brownback is elected governor in November.
“Tom Holland is simply an unacceptable choice for the Sunflower State. His tax-and-spend record in the state legislature would be devastating if it were brought to the statewide level.”
