RGA Statement on Georgia Governor Nathan Deal’s Re-Election Announcement

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association Chairman Chris Christie issued the following statement today regarding Georgia Governor Nathan Deal’s re-election announcement:

“Since his election in 2010, Governor Deal has led Georgia to over 235,000 new jobs, its lowest unemployment rate since 2008 and an ever-growing rainy day fund. He’s overseen balanced budgets and taken on important projects like reforming the tax code, reducing government regulation and lowering taxes for hard-working Georgians. These are the results voters expect from their public officials, and they point to strong, focused leadership on the part of Governor Deal. The Republican Governors Association is proud to support Governor Deal’s re-election campaign.”
