RGA Statement on Democrat Colin Van Ostern’s Decision to Run for New Hampshire Governor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association Communications Director Jon Thompson released the following statement regarding Democrat Colin Van Ostern’s announcement that he will run for governor of New Hampshire:

“Colin Van Ostern is an extreme partisan Democrat who is more concerned with pleasing party leaders and advancing his own political career than providing workable solutions to address New Hampshire’s problems. Van Ostern can only offer more of the same gridlock, tax hikes and slow economic growth that has plagued the state under Governor Maggie Hassan. Granite State voters deserve a leader in the governor’s office who will provide a fresh start and use pro-growth policies to get the state back on the right track.”
