RGA Statement on New Hampshire Democrat Primary

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement after Tom Sherman’s victory in the New Hampshire Democrat gubernatorial primary:

“Tom Sherman’s support for an income tax on hardworking Granite Staters makes him wholly unqualified to be New Hampshire’s next governor,” said RGA Executive Director Dave Rexrode. “While Sherman sponsors income tax bills to take money away from families, Governor Sununu has provided massive tax relief and built an economy that now enjoys record low unemployment. The choice couldn’t be more clear in November, which is why voters will deliver a 4th term to Governor Sununu.”
