RGA Statement on Minnesota Democrats Nominating Washington Politician Tim Walz For Governor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding Minnesota Democrats selecting Washington Politician and devoted DC United Fan Tim Walz as their nominee for governor:

“Tim Walz is just another Washington politician who lacks principles and changes his tune whenever his pollsters tell him to,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “On issues across the board, from healthcare to the second amendment, Walz has flip-flopped to appease his far-left base. Now, Walz supports a massive government takeover of healthcare that would cost $32 trillion and double income tax bills. It’s clear that Minnesotans cannot trust Tim Walz’s word, and that’s why he won’t be elected governor this November.”
