RGA Statement on Lee Zeldin’s Primary Victory

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement on Lee Zeldin’s primary election victory:

“A lifelong New Yorker and combat veteran, Lee Zeldin is just the man the Empire State needs to keep families safe from criminals, slash taxes and create new jobs,” said RGA Co-Chairs Governors Doug Ducey and Pete Ricketts. “Kathy Hochul refuses to force prosecutors to punish criminals and repeal cashless bail. Businesses and families now flee the state in record numbers because they do not feel safe under Governor Hochul. We congratulate Lee on his primary victory and believe voters will recognize the Zeldin administration will be their last opportunity to turn New York state around.”
