WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding the Kansas GOP Gubernatorial Primary:
“I want to thank Governor Jeff Colyer for his service to the people of Kansas,” said RGA Chairman Governor Bill Haslam. “Since taking office in January, Governor Colyer made it clear that it was a new day in Kansas, and his leadership has been the difference maker for the state over these past few months. Kansas is now a stronger state thanks to Governor Colyer’s effective governance and dynamic leadership.”
“Congratulations to Kris Kobach on his hard-fought victory,” Governor Haslam continued. “Kobach is the best candidate to keep Kansas moving forward, and as governor, will use conservative policies to deliver results. The RGA congratulates Kris Kobach on his victory and look forward to working with him to make him the next governor of Kansas.”
