RGA Statement Following VA Gubernatorial Debate: Winsome Earle-Sears is Leading with Common Sense

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement after Virginia’s gubernatorial debate:

“Winsome Earle-Sears is leading with common sense and unity while Abigail Spanberger continues to want to make Virginia a sanctuary state for dangerous illegal criminals, stands by Jay Jones’ wish of murdering his political opponents, refuses to say that biological men don’t belong in girls’ bathrooms, and allows rage and division to fuel her campaign. Virginia deserves a governor who has the courage to stand up and clearly denounce political violence. Earle-Sears passes that test, and Spanberger fails,” said RGA Rapid Response Director Kollin Crompton.
