RGA Releases New Web Video: “Man On The Street: Terry McAuliffe Edition”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new web video today that reveals exactly what people think of the bizarre and reckless behavior Terry McAuliffe has displayed in recent years. The web video will appear on www.LiePadByMack.com, a multimedia clearing house designed to help voters keep up with Terry McAuliffe’s many absurd and untruthful remarks. The spot, “Man On The Street: Terry McAuliffe Edition” draws from a story McAuliffe proudly recounts in his book What A Party. When ordinary people hear that he once left his wife and newborn in the car while he attended a political fundraiser, their real-time reactions suggest McAuliffe has some explaining to do before he can earn votes in Virginia.

“To find out who Terry McAuliffe really is, you have to dig through a pile of lies, contradictions and empty promises,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “But as this video shows, what’s beneath McAuliffe’s surface is far from the kind of behavior the Commonwealth needs in a governor. If he is willing to put politics ahead of his own family, we can’t expect him to put Virginia first. Terry McAuliffe simply can’t be trusted.”
