RGA Releases New Video For Kentucky Governor’s Race: “Impeachment”

WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new video in Kentucky ahead of tonight’s Democrat gubernatorial debate hosted by WDRB, highlighting Adam Edelen, Andy Beshear, and Rocky Adkins’ cowardly silence as their party’s leadership increasingly embraces calls to impeach the president.

While Edelen, Beshear, and Adkins refuse to speak out, leading Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden claimed that his party may have “no alternative” to impeachment as Democrat leaders in the House are openly discussing moving forward with impeachment proceedings. Even Kentucky’s sole Democrat member of Congress, John Yarmuth, recently advocated for impeachment, calling it “inevitable.”

“While their party’s radical leadership embraces divisive calls to impeach the president, the Democrats running for Governor have refused to step up and tell Kentucky voters where they stand” said RGA Deputy Communications Director John Burke. “It’s past time for Adam Edelen, Andy Beshear, and Rocky Adkins to tell voters whether they will side with the vast majority of Kentuckians or with radical leaders of their party trying to divide the country.”
