WASHINGTON D.C.  –  The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement in the New Jersey governor’s race today, targeting Democrat Phil Murphy’s plan to increase taxes by up to $5 billion on top of what they already pay.

“Phil Murphy thinks New Jersey taxes aren’t high enough, and even admitted that he would increase them by up to $5 billion,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “While it may be easy for an ultra-rich former Goldman Sachs executive who had access to private jets and homes around the world to pay higher taxes, hardworking New Jersey families can’t afford his far-left, extreme policies.”
