RGA Releases New TV Ad In New Hampshire Governor’s Race

WASHINGTON, D.C – Live Free PAC, an organization supported by the Republican Governors Association (RGA), today released a new television ad in the New Hampshire governor’s race. The ad, titled “Imagine,” highlights Democrat Dan Feltes’ unwavering support of an income tax, and the serious economic burdens that his shortsighted plan would have on New Hampshire’s small businesses and working families.

As a state senator, Feltes was the top cheerleader for an income tax – he sponsored and consistently advocated to impose this devastating new tax on Granite Staters. If Feltes had it his way, amid a global pandemic which has forced businesses to shutter and people to lose their jobs, New Hampshire families would have been forced to fork over an additional $150 million in new taxes. Many are already struggling to make ends meet, and under the Dan Feltes plan, working families would have less money in their pockets for essential goods and services like food, medicine, and childcare.

“Dan Feltes’ reckless proposals are dangerous for families and small businesses across the Granite State,” said RGA Communications Director Amelia Chassé Alcivar. “The people of New Hampshire want and deserve to live free – free of a government led by a serial tax hiker like Dan Feltes who will increase their tax burden by hundreds of millions of dollars every single year.”

Script for “Imagine”:
Times are tough for many.
But imagine less money to buy food, medicine, or pay for childcare.
That’s what Dan Feltes’s income tax plan would do to New Hampshire families and small businesses.
Costing us over $150 million per year.
All while we’re recovering from a global pandemic.
Hitting our families hard, when we can least afford it.
Dan Feltes is just wrong for New Hampshire.
