RGA Releases New TV Ad In Maryland Governor’s Race: “Fire”

WASHINGTON, D.C – The Republican Governor’s Association released a second TV ad in the Maryland governor’s race today, informing voters about the dangers of Democrat Ben Jealous’s radical and costly Single-Payer healthcare plan. A nonpartisan analysis recently found that Jealous’s plan would cost $24 billion, taking $2,800 from the pocket of every man, woman and child in Maryland.

“If Ben Jealous wins, Maryland taxpayers may as well set their money on fire,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “Jealous would raise Maryland taxes to never-before-seen levels to fund his experimental healthcare plan, forcing every man, woman and child in the state to pay a $2,800 tax. That’s why even Democrats are admitting that Ben Jealous would destroy Maryland’s economy.”
