RGA Releases New TV Ad In Maryland Governor’s Race: “Too Divisive”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television ad in the Maryland governor’s race today, highlighting how Democrat Ben Jealous’ divisive agenda is too extreme – even for members of his own party.

“Ben Jealous’ far-left agenda is too irresponsible and too divisive for Maryland,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “Ben Jealous’ agenda is so radical that even prominent Democrats are refusing to support him. Both sides of the aisle are abandoning Ben Jealous’ campaign because he’s simply too extreme and divisive for Maryland.”

Script:

Too divisive. Risky and radical. Irresponsible and extreme.

Fellow Democrats describe Ben Jealous.

Jealous would bring divisive, Washington style partisanship to Maryland.

And his radical and irresponsible proposals would destroy our economy.

No wonder prominent Democrats refuse to support Jealous.

And so many support Larry Hogan for Governor.

Because even fellow Democrats know, Ben Jealous is too extreme for Maryland.
