WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television ad in the Kansas governor’s race today, highlighting Democrat Laura Kelly’s support of tax hikes on working families, including voting to raise taxes on groceries by nearly 20 percent.

“Laura Kelly is the only candidate running for Kansas governor with a record of supporting higher taxes,” said RGA Spokesman David Weinman. “Kelly even voted to raise taxes on groceries and food by nearly 20 percent. Kansas working families can’t afford to pay more to fund Laura Kelly’s liberal agenda.”
