WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) today released the latest installment of its “Simply Stated” digital video series profiling GOP governors’ work to transform their states through pro-growth reforms and innovative policy solutions that improve the lives of working families.
The latest video highlights Idaho Governor Brad Little’s historic and successful regulatory reform initiative, which has resulted in a record-breaking 40 percent reduction in burdensome state regulations.

Through executive action and administrative leadership, Governor Little has followed through on his campaign promise to reduce red tape for Idaho citizens and businesses by cutting or streamlining a staggering 900 pages of regulations. In his first weeks in office, he issued the Red Tape Reduction Act and Licensing Freedom Act of 2019, two executive orders that set a clear vision for good government reforms. Governor Little then partnered with the state legislature to make even more sweeping changes to Idaho’s Administrative Code.
“In his first months in office, Governor Little followed through on the promises he made to Idaho voters,” said RGA Communications Director Amelia Chassé Alcivar. “Through his innovative, results-focused leadership, Idaho has become a national leader in growth-focused reforms that create a more transparent and less complex government for all Idahoans.”
The previous episode in the Simply Stated series profiled Maryland Governor Larry Hogan’s massive opportunity zone expansion. View previous Simply Stated videos, and all RGA videos, here:
