RGA Releases New Digital Ad In Kentucky Governor’s Race: “You Deserve Better”

WASHINGTON, DC – As Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andy Beshear campaigns with Adam Edelen, Putting Kentucky First, an organization supported by the Republican Governors Association (RGA), released a new digital ad highlighting Edelen’s harsh and frequent criticism of Beshear during the Democratic primary. The video will be targeted to Democrats and swing voters on Facebook.

The ad includes footage of Edelen stating that Beshear “has got no vision for the future,” “doesn’t know anything about modern economic development other than talking points that have been written for him by somebody else,” and describing Beshear’s campaign rhetoric as “designed not to inspire you but not to offend you.” It concludes with Edelen saying, of Beshear, “Folks, you deserve better.”
