WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the Wisconsin governor’s race, which points to Mary Burke’s recent plagiarism scandal as proof the Democrat nominee is not fit to be governor.

“It took Mary Burke months after announcing her candidacy to roll out her plan to create Wisconsin jobs, but it turns out entire sections of the plan she finally proposed were ripped off from other Democrats,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “As a senior member of the Doyle administration which left Wisconsin with 130,000 fewer jobs and a huge budget shortfall, it’s clear now why Burke felt she had to resort to copying fellow liberals’ plans in order to appear credible. Unfortunately for Burke, Wisconsin voters want a governor with a plan to move forward, not a liberal trying to dupe them with a campaign charade.”
