WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the Ohio governor’s race, detailing Democrat Ed FitzGerald’s poor record of leadership and risky decision-making as a Cuyahoga County Executive.

“Unfortunately for Ed FitzGerald’s struggling campaign, his poor decision-making as a Cuyahoga County Executive shows his incompetence and failed leadership ability,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “Ed FitzGerald loves to talk about transparency in government, but it turns out he’s nothing more than a hypocrite.  Ohioans look for strong leadership in their governor, and in that arena FitzGerald has come up short time and time again.
