WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the Louisiana governor’s race, which details John Bel Edwards’ record as a tax-raising, Obama liberal who can’t be trusted to make the right choices for Louisiana families.

“Just like President Obama, John Bel Edwards cares more about himself than the people of Louisiana,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “In addition to supporting higher taxes, Edwards also opted to raise his own pay and failed to stop illegal aliens from receiving welfare. John Bel Edwards’ record is clear: He’s just another Obama liberal.”
